LEED Accredited Professional BD&C

Architect and Educator for Sustainability in Building Design and Construction

Loren Aiton has been involved in the construction industry for over 40 years, and a Licensed Architect since 1988. Loren has been involved in sustainable building since 2003 and a LEED Accredited Professional since 2004 focused on sustainable construction. He has been involved with USGBC regionally and nationally in continued development of LEED, including having served on the California committee for LEED 2009 BD&C, ID&C, EBO&M Regional Priority Credits for the LEEDv4 Regionalization program.

Mr. Aiton currently teaches sustainability and LEED at California State University, Fresno, where he is a lecturer for the Construction Management and Architecture Department of the Lyles College of Engineering.
