David Witek, COO, Arc Skoru
Dave has served as the Chief Operating Officer of Arc Skoru since January 2019. In this role, he is responsible for overall company operations guiding the team to execute on technology, business development, customer experience and strategy. He has led the organization to significant customer growth and expanded capabilities supporting LEED, operational performance of buildings, ESG, climate risks and carbon emissions reporting requirements.
Joining USGBC in 2006, Dave spent 12 years as the head of Finance in roles from Controller to Senior Vice President. In these roles he held responsibility for financial management, proper process and controls, reporting and audit, budget preparation, corporate investments and payroll functions. He participated in the successful sale of the Greenbuild International Conference & Expo and the acquisition of GRESB.
During that time, Dave also spent time overseeing Operations and Administration. Here he focused on process improvement for new and existing lines of business, liaising with strategic partners, improving energy efficiency performance of the office and reducing the organization’s carbon footprint. Dave also served as the Executive Lead for many of the new rating systems added by GBCI, including PEER, SITES, Parksmart and TRUE. This involved managing the programmatic, brand and business development of each standard. Also, as part of the Market Transformation and Development team, Dave collaborated closely with stakeholders in Latin America to expand sustainability efforts across the region.
Dave earned a Master’s in Business Administration in Information Technology at Loyola College in Maryland, a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Syracuse University and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). Dave attended The Emerging CFO program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Rebecca Ramsdale, Director of Projects, Verdical Group

Rebecca is the Director of Projects at Verdical Group, overseeing a variety of high-performance buildings and material transparency projects. She guides projects through schematic design, feasibility assessments, design iterations, the construction process, and closeout to achieve the client’s sustainability goals.
She joined Verdical Group from the general contracting industry where she gained valuable experience as a project engineer, project manager, and estimator. These roles enhanced her managing skills for project schedules and budgets, field-work, and communication, all with the highest level of quality and attention to detail. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola Marymount University where she studied Natural Science and Civil Engineering.
Rebecca enjoys connecting with the community through her various volunteering organizations USGBC-California and serving as a LMU CIP Mentorship Committee Leader.
